Teacher of the Year!

Gamma Alpha Bulletin: GAB

Sandy Becher is becoming quite a bowler Her average is 171. She has no plans to leave teaching and join the pro circuit at this time.

Legislative information on the Internet. If you have access to the Internet, the U.S. Congress World Wide Web site can be accessed to obtain copies of bills and information on status of bills. The address is http://thomas.loc.gov.

Speaking of the Internet, Gamma Alpha Bulletin is now on-line! Come visit our web site at http://www.rust.net/~ismart. My husband, Ian, has been instrumental in designing and funding the web page. If you have any information you feel other women in education may be interested in, please let me know and happy surfing!

During the December Executive Board meeting Mary Foster was unusually quiet. It seems this was the fourth of seven days that Mary was not supposed to even whisper. She had laryngitis. We hope you are better, Mary.

Sandy Becher was the winner of the November door prize. Sandy won a teacher's book bag. These were items that were being sold at last year's State Convention and Fall Workshops. Sandy won by being present at the meeting. Who will win the door prize at the January meeting? Come and find out...it might be you!

Grace Morgan is keeping busy during her retirement. Along with being Gamma Alpha's Treasurer, she has been painting her condo, gardening, tutoring a hearing impaired child, taking craft classes, and substitute teaching at Madison Elementary.

Retired Members are requested to drop Jackie a line and let her know what is happening.

If you have any information that you would like to see in the bulletin, let me know - email us!
